コロナの感染が再び増えてきたので今日もオンライン例会。
直接会えないのは残念だけど、みんな思い思いの仮想背景も使って楽しく参加。

Today, we had an online meeting. It’s a pity that we cannot meet face to face, but meeting itself is enjoyable. Especially, President S.M.’s virtual background of a mountain brings us coolness.
今日は日本語の部からのスタート。今朝の言葉は「走馬灯」。走馬灯は夏の季語って知っていましたか？走馬灯のように頭に浮かぶ思い出を胸に、例会の始まり、始まり。
Today, we start from Japanese session. Today’s word is “revolving lantern （走馬灯）”. Do you notice that it is summer season word?
When we make a speech, many memories come and go like a revolving lantern. Let’s enjoy today’s meeting with lots of memories!
最初の日本語のスピーチはH.M.さん。アーチェリー部での経験から「成功の種」を見出したという素晴らしいスピーチ。ボディ・ランゲージもお見事！スピーチがめきめき上達していますね！
First speaker is TM H.M. She tells us how she find “source of success” from her experience at archery club. It’s an impressive speech and her body language is also nice!
次のスピーチは前会長のY.T.さん。会長時代を振り返るポジティブかつユーモアもたっぷりのスピーチでした。改めてY.T.さんの素晴らしいリーダーシップに拍手喝采！
Next speaker is the former President TM Y.T. He reviews the previous period positively and humorously. Everybody gives him a big round of applause with lots of appreciation!
テーブルトピック（即興スピーチ）のお題は「コロナ」。コロナはコロナでも今感染が拡大している「コロナ」じゃなくて、いい意味のいろいろな「コロナ」です。「コロナ=王冠」、「コロナ＝車種」、「コロナ=出版社」と発想を飛ばして即興スピーチに挑戦！出題者のT.I.さんの手書きのイラストも素敵！
Today’s table topic theme is “Corona.” But it is not a virus, but other various “Corona.” It means crown, name of a car, and name of a publisher. We enjoy various “Corona” as well as his nice handwriting illustration.
論評の部ではN.T.さんはH.M.さんの上達ポイントをしっかりフィードバックし、Y.I.さんは前会長への感謝の詰まった論評を行いました。

英語の部の今朝の言葉は「When it comes to～」。～については、といった意味です。
Today’s word of the morning is “ When it comes to～.” It is a similar meaning of “regarding to” “As for”.
英語の最初のスピーカーはT.K.さん。茶道の恩師のお葬式を想定した心のこもったスピーチ。
First English speaker is TM T.K. Her speech is a farewell message for her teacher of tea ceremony.
次のスピーカーはK.A.さん。スピーチを邪魔してくる観衆相手ににこやかに答えながら、朝の効用について力説。さあ、あなたも早起きして、いい一日を過ごしましょう！
Next speaker is TM K.A. Today’s her purpose is to deal with difficult audience who disturb her speech. She answers each comment with warm smile and explains merits of morning routines. Let's get up early and enjoy your beautiful day!
テーブルトピックのお題は熱中症。熱中症対策や、友達が熱中症になったらどうする？といったテーマに対し、「ハンディ扇風機！」「冷えピタ！」「すいか！」「北極アイス！」といったユニークな回答がずらり！

個人論評ではA.T.さんが鋭い分析を交えた論評を披露し、T.Iさんは更なる上達を目指してより難しい場面にチャレンジするようにK.A.さんを鼓舞。
