Today, we had an online meeting. We have a guest from the U.S.A. Thanks to online, we can take part in a meeting in a different country!
今日は英語の部からのスタート。今朝の言葉は「marvelous（素晴らしい）」。marvelousな例会になるよう、みんなでがんばろう！

今日は英語の部はテーブル・トピック（即興スピーチ）祭り。テーブル・トピック・マスターのY.I.さんから繰り出される予測不可能なお題に回答をひねり出す回答者の面々。テーブル・トピックを通じて、各々の性格、考え方、経験の一部が垣間見えるのが面白いですね！
Today, we don’t have a prepared speech in English session, so we enjoy lots of table topic speeches. Tabele topic master TM Y.I. gives us unexpected themes and each speaker manages to answer it. Through these speeches, we can see a part of speaker’s character, way of thinking, and experiences.
日本語の部の今朝の言葉は「燃ゆる」。いや～、燃ゆるような夏ですな！
Today’s word of the morning is “fiery” It is a fiery summer, isn’t it?
日本語の最初のスピーカーはY.I.さん。トーストマスターズ・クラブ立ち上げまでの紆余曲折を総合格闘技の例えを用いて生き生きとユーモアたっぷりに語りました。
First Japanese speaker is TM Y.I. She talks about her experience to establish a toastmasters club in her company with lots of humor. It is like a drama!
次のスピーカーはY.T.さん。前期の各賞の表彰をスピーチスタイルで行うという斬新なスピーチ。Y.T.さんの深い洞察に基づくユーモアあふれる手作りの表彰状にみんな感激！
Next speaker is TM Y.T., the former our club president. He introduces various awards for the former term. He deeply analyzes each winner and makes warm & humorous comments for them. Every member is very moved his affectionate words!
テーブルトピックのお題は回答者に狙いを定めたもの。釣り好きのY.I.さんには「魚について」。話したいことが多すぎてタイムオーバー（やっぱりね。。。）。
山好きのS.M.さんには「虫について」。山で見かける虫について話すのかと思ったら、ゴキブリへの同情を語りだし、みんなびっくり！
台湾人のゲストのEさんは映画について、「ジブリが好き」との嬉しいお話。ジブリは国境を越えて人気ですね。

For TM Y.I, who loves fishing, “About fish.” He has too many things to talk and over time.
For TM S.M. who loves mountains, “About an insect.” I expect him to talk about insects in a mountain, but he shows his sympathy to cockroach!!!
Our Taiwanese guest talks about her love to Studio Ghibli. Movies of Ghibli are loved all over the world!
