Today’s venue was a little bit small, so we could not receive guests. We’re really sorry! But the meeting was enjoyable as usual even the weather was not so good.

第三土曜の例会は英語の部からスタート。今朝の言葉は「hang out」。「hangもoutも知っているけど、hang out になったら意味わかりますか？」今朝の言葉のK.S.さんの意表を突いた言葉紹介に一同「?」。ちなみに意味は「（外で）長時間ブラブラする」
The meeting of the 3rd Saturday starts from English session.
Word of the morning is “hang out.” Word master, TM K.S. says, “You know “hang” and “out”. But do you know the meaning of “hang out”? Participants are surprised his introduction. The meaning of “hang out” is ” to spend a lot of time in a place or with someone.”

テーブルトピック（即興スピーチ）は、「コロナ下で磨きたいスキルは？」「コロナの影響でインフレ？」。四苦八苦しながらもスピーチ時間を満たそうと話す回答者でしたが、計時係が時間を測り忘れて大慌て、というハプニングも。それも笑いになるのが赤羽クラブ。

One of speakers TM Y.I has a hard time to answer. “Excuse me, do I talk for enough time?” Timer forgets to time! Everybody laughs! Laughter is one of our club’s feature.
論評者のN.T.さんは２０分のスピーチへの論評を３分半できっちりまとめるという難題をしっかりクリア。

テーブルトピックのお題は在宅勤務。在宅勤務でお高い椅子に投資したY.I.さん、在宅時間でお子さんとの料理時間を楽しむH.M.さん。メンバーの最近の生活模様がわかって面白い。
Theme of Table topic is work at home. TM Y.I. bought expensive chair for work. TM H.M. enjoys cooking with her daughter. Thanks to nice topics, we can know each other’s daily life.
