今日は次期役員選挙も行われ、次期役員が決定しました。
The government lifted the state of emergency, but t we still had an online meeting. Today we had a guest from Nepal! Online makes us possible to attend TMC meetings across the world!
Today, we had the officer election and 7 officers for the next term were approved.
今日の司会者（TMOM）はIさん。初めてのTMOMですが堂々たる司会ぶり。
Today’s TMOM is I-san. This is the first time for her to do this role, but she did it perfectly!
今朝の言葉は「巣ごもり」。最近よく聞く言葉で、何となくあったか～いイメージの言葉！
Today’s word of the morning is “巣ごもり(nesting).” Recently, we often hear this word. It has a warm image.
日本語のスピーカーはSさんです。食後の楽しませるスピーチです。
Today’s Japanese speaker is S-san. He tries a joyful speech after meal.
全国大会で3位入賞されたAさんの祝勝会という設定で、「ふるまわれたら、美味しくいただかねばならぬ」ということを数々のエピソードを交えてユーモアたっぷりに披露。仮想背景も宴会の料理をずらりと並べた美味しそうな写真で、思わずよだれが。オンラインならではですね！
The scene setting is a celebration party for A-san who won the 3rd prize at the District Contest. He humorously talks “If you were treated a meal, you should enjoy eating” with several episodes. The virtual background he uses looks so delicious!
日本語のテーブルトピックス（即興スピーチ）マスターはMさんです。次期会長のMさんはリーダーシップについてのお題を3題。若手、中堅、ベテランからそれぞれのリーダーシップ論が展開され、これで準備スピーチができるんじゃないか？！というくらいの素晴らしいスピーチでした。
Japanese table topic master is M-san. He is our next president and interested in leadership. So today’s topics are related to leadership. Young, middle and senior members talk about their thought on leadership. Each speech is really great even though it was table topics.
英語の部では、今朝の言葉は「ideal」。理想的なクラブを目指して！
Today’s word of the morning in English is “ideal.” M-san hopes Akabane club has been an ideal club!
英語のスピーカーはIさん。数々の「困った」聴衆をうまくあしらいながらスピーチするという難易度の高いプロジェクト！あの手、この手で邪魔してくる聴衆をにこやかにかわしながら、対面のコミュニケーションが限られる今こそ、オンライン英会話、という説得力に富んだスピーチでした。
Today’s English speaker is I-san. She challenges a difficult project in which she should manage difficult audiences. Though several members disturb her speech, she always smiles and manage them properly. Amazing! In her speech, she recommends online English lessons to improve communication “muscle” and it is very persuasive.
英語のテーブルトピック・マスターはIさん。「好きな花は？」のお題に対してネパールからゲスト参加のSさんがネパールの美しい花や季節の話を展開。またIさんはご自身の最近の経験から「好きな本は？」「予期せぬ発見は？」というお題を出され、回答者は何とか回答をひねり出していました。
English table topic master is I-san. The first theme is “What is your favorite flower?” and our today’s guest from Nepal answered this question. She introduces a beautiful flower and season in Nepal. All of us are fascinated by her speech! Other questions are “What is your favorite book?” “What is your unexpected finding?” Answerers do their best to elaborate speeches!
