今日は英語の部から。今朝の言葉は「insight（洞察(力)、眼識)）」。皆さんのスピーチから様々なinsightを得られることを期待！
Today we start from the English session. Today’s word is “insight”. We can expand our insight from various speeches!
今日は英語の準備スピーチはなく、ドキドキのテーブルトピックです。今日のテーマは「好きなもの」。「好きな映画は？」「トイストーリー。わかりやすいストーリーながら、学べることがある。」
「好きな本は？」「サイエンス雑誌の『Newton』。読みやすく、興味深い記事が楽しめる。」コロナの中でも、好きなことを考えて明るく、前向きに！
Today’s table topic theme is “Favorite things.”
“What is your favorite movie?” “Toy story series. Stories are easy to understand and we can learn lots.”
“What is your favorite book?” “Science magazine “Newton.” It’s easy to read and we can enjoy interesting articles.”
Even in coronavirus outbreak, we're in a cheerful mood with considering favorite things!
日本語の部の今朝の言葉は「傾く」。2月20日は「歌舞伎の日」だそうで、「歌舞伎」の語源が「傾く」。勉強になります！
Today’s word of the morning is “lean”. Today is the day for “Kabuki” and origin of Kabuki is “Kabuku (lean).” Wow!
日本語の最初のスピーカーはS.M.さん。例会の各役割についてPPTを用いてわかりやすく説明の後、質疑応答。これでどの役割もバッチリ！
The first speaker is S.M. san. He briefly explains each role of a regular meeting by using PPT. Through the presentation and Q&A session, we can understand it!
2番目のスピーカーはT.K.さん。迫真の演技で仕事での失敗談を語り、間違えた際の真摯な対応が必要ということを身をもって示してくれました。
The second Japanese speaker is T.K. san. She talks about her failure at her job vividly. From her speech, we can learn we should deal with our failure sincerely.
３番目のスピーカーはY.T.さん。20年前にあきらめた弓道3段に挑戦し、見事昇段！この経験を通じ、緊張に負けない方法（鼻歌！)や挑戦することの素晴らしさを伝えてくれました。
The third speaker is Y.T. san. 20 years ago, he failed the promotion test for Kyudo. But recently he challenged again and succeeded! (Congratulations!)
Through this experience, he shares tips how to concentrate without being nervous; Humming is the key!
テーブルトピックのお題は、今週の出来事から。
「地震の時に何をしていました？」「仕事。人の命を守る仕事のため、普段から緊急時に備えている」（なるほど！）
「バレンタインデーの思い出は？」「義理チョコもらった瞬間からホワイトデーのお返しのことで頭がいっぱい」(男はツライよ！)
「コロナ・ワクチンについては？」「怖い気もするけど、子どもをコロナから守るためには接種します！」(有難い親の愛(涙)！)
The theme of table topic is from this week’s events.
“What did you do during an earthquake?” “I worked to save people’s lives. Preparation for emergencies is crucial.”
“What is your memory of St. Valentine's Day?” “Right after receiving chocolate, I start considering what presents I should buy in return.”
“What do you think about Coronavirus vaccine?” “Scary. But to protect my children, I’ll receive vaccination.”
個人論評ではJ.N.さんがS.M.さんのスピーチについて聴衆のニーズに合ったテーマや誠実で温かな姿勢を称賛するとともに、情報をより絞り込み、最後にポイントを伝えるとよいとアドバイス。
S.K.さんはT.K.さんのデリバリーを存分に楽しんだことを伝え、結論部分をより充実させるとよいと指摘。
H.I.さんはY.T.さんのスピーチについて、今朝の言葉を積極的に使った点、話すスピードのメリハリや内容に応じた表情の変化を見逃さず報告。
At individual evaluation, J.N. san praises S.M. san’s choice of theme and sincere and warm attitude. She suggests that it’s better to reduce information and summarize the point.
S.K. san points out that vivid expression made T.K. san’s speech enjoyable. He recommends that the conclusion could be more substantial.
H.I. san surprises that Y.T. san used the word of morning in his speech! He also notices that Y.T.san changed speaking speed and facial expression depending on the content.
